YGO, which provides an AI layer linking travel companies to airlines, hotels and tour operators, has closed an €8 million Series A round led by Ventech, with participation from Sake Bosch, Caesar Capital and business angels. The funding will support go-to-market and sales, further development of its AI platform, and expansion beyond the DACH region.
As travelers move from traditional search and online travel agencies toward AI-powered discovery and booking, YGO offers suppliers a neutral orchestration layer that makes their inventory AI-ready without rebuilding existing systems. Its platform structures fragmented travel data, enabling semantic search, personalized recommendations, automated customer service and booking across companies’ own channels and external AI agents.
Co-founder and CEO Julian Kögel said travel is one of the last major industries running on infrastructure never designed for an AI-first world, and that the funding will help YGO become the AI layer connecting the sector. Nicolas Barthalon, Partner at Ventech, said customers are already reclaiming their customer relationships with AI and showing measurable gains.
YGO processes bookings for Condor, Bentour and GetAway Group, and has grown ARR into seven figures within six months. Founded by Kögel, Willi Ibbeken and Sebastian Kreutzberger, the team has been joined by Ralf Usbeck, founder of TravelTainment and Peakwork.
